AECAS and Ghana-Russia Business Development Council sign cooperation agreement

October 4, Moscow - The Association of Economic Cooperation with African States (AECAS) and the Ghana-Russia Business Development Council start working together to boost bilateral economic relations.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed during an official visit to Ghana by the Head of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, Ambassador at Large Oleg Ozerov, accompanied by the business delegation of AECAS.

The parties agreed to develop and strengthen cooperation to promote Russian companies' products and services on the African market, to share expertise and exchange information in order to create favorable conditions for the development of Russia-Ghana relations.

The ceremony was also attended by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Ghana, Sergei Berdnikov.

During the visit to Ghana, organized by AECAS with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign affairs and with active assistance of the Russian Embassy in Ghana and the Ghana-Russia Business Council, a number of bilateral meetings were held between the representatives of Russian business and local companies and banks.
