AECAS and Mosprom Agree to Jointly Develop Exports of Goods from Moscow-Based Companies to Africa

June 3, St. Petersburg — Alexander Saltanov, Chairman of the Association for Economic Cooperation with Africa, and Natalia Shuvalova, Director General of Mosprom, signed a cooperation agreement on the margins of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
According to “Mosprom”, which is subordinate to the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, there is a need to support and develop the industrial and agro-industrial export of Moscow as well as to create favourable conditions for the promotion of the products made in Moscow on foreign markets.
“Combining the efforts of AECAS and regional business support centres, joint promotion of the business agenda of Russian companies on the African continent in this regard will allow us to offer our African partners a wider range of interaction to build a long-term mutually beneficial partnership,” Saltanov said.
