Delegation of Russian companies visits Ghana as part of a business mission organized by AECAS
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the issues related to preferential market access in Africa, duty-free trade conditions for countries outside the African Union, as well as possible mechanisms for the settlement of trade relations between the participants.
Mr. Ojakol invited AECAS to play a more active role in the work of AfCFTA and in the exchange of information.
During the visit to Ghana, organized by AECAS with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the active assistance of the Russian Embassy in Ghana and the Ghana-Russia Business Development Council, a range of bilateral meetings between the representatives of Russian companies and local businesses took place.
Members of the AECAS delegation from JSC Uralchem and PJSC Uralkali held negotiations with the largest buyers of mineral fertilizers in Ghana. A meeting between the representatives of Russian companies and Ghana Gas Ltd. was also held.
