Excursion of African ambassadors' wives to the Bolshoi Theater
On April 13, 2023, the Association for Economic Cooperation with African States (AECAS) held the second meeting of the wives of African ambassadors accredited in Moscow.
An excursion to the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia was organized for the distinguished ladies.
Bolshoi Theatre of Russia has always been and remains one of the main symbols of our state and its culture. It is the main national theater of Russia, a carrier of traditions of Russian and the center of world musical culture, contributing to the development of the theatrical art of the country.
The meeting was attended by the spouses of the ambassadors of African countries: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Mauritania, Namibia, Sudan, Tunisia and Zimbabwe, along with a group of wives joined by H.E.Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Madagascar, Judith Deniz Tafangi.
Accompanying them were: Mrs. Galli Monastyreva, Director of Humanitarian Projects at AECAS; Mrs. Svetlana Modnova, Founder and Head of the Family Traditions Foundation and the Workshop "Cotton Toy Manufactory"; Mrs. Irina Saltykova, Director of the International APEC BEST AWARD for Women Entrepreneurship Projects and Mrs. Larisa Taradina, Head of International Development at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. Ahead of the distinguished guests are excursions to the exhibition ART-Moscow to Gostiny Dvor, Star City, VDNH, Cathedral Mosque, Grand Kremlin Palace, as well as visits to leading enterprises of the capital, meetings with representatives of the cultural and scientific community, prominent statesmen and public figures of Russia, as well as tours to the regions of the country.
